An Online Event with Lael Stone & A Thousand Roses
At A Thousand Roses, we believe motherhood was never meant to be navigated alone.
Our mission has always been to honour and support women and children through every season of life, creating space for connection, education and community in a world that often asks mums to carry too much on their own. This special online event is an extension of that vision.
Join renowned parenting educator, TEDx speaker, counsellor, educator and bestselling author Lael Stone for a heartfelt and practical conversation on raising children with connection, compassion and confidence.
Lael is the bestselling co-author of Raising Resilient and Compassionate Children and author of Own Your Story. For more than 23 years, she has supported thousands of families, educators and communities to better understand children's behaviour, emotions and development through the lens of connection, compassion and emotional wellbeing. She is also the co-founder of Woodline Primary School, a pioneering Australian school built on the principles of emotional wellbeing, connection, autonomy and respect for children. Through her books, TEDx talks, counselling work, parenting programs and educational initiatives, Lael has become one of Australia's most respected voices in parenting, emotional resilience and family wellbeing.
Designed for parents and caregivers of children aged 0–5 years, this special event will explore gentle, evidence-informed parenting tools that support both your child's emotional development and your own wellbeing as a mother.
At A Thousand Roses, we know that supporting little ones begins with supporting the women raising them. Through our products, education and community, we are passionate about helping mothers feel seen, supported and empowered. This event brings together two shared values: nurturing resilient children and caring for the mothers guiding them. It also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as we prepare to launch The Village—a community created to connect, educate and support women through motherhood and beyond.
Together, we'll explore how to navigate big feelings, strengthen connection, build emotional resilience, and create a calmer, more connected family environment—without striving for perfection.
